What is a Kidney Stone?

Kidney stones are a hard mass of minerals in the kidney channels.

What is the cause?

This ouccurs due to the factors and mechanism of formation of stones that are not fully familiar,

However, some of the main factors as famililar predispositions are the congenitial urinary tract anomalies, some systematic diseases (Gout, Crystals etc.)

From where and how does it occur?

Wherever there is urine, there might be a gem as well whether in the kidney’s pelvis or kidney’s pond.
Lack of some protective substances that body produces may also cause urinary stone formation.
Kidney stone is more common in the tropical countries with hot and high altitude.
Sun has an impact, because the sun increases Vitamin D synthesis mainly calcium adding a cause to more substance absorption to the urine, main breakthrough is made of calcium stones.

Men are 3 times more likely than women are.

Wich health problems accelerate in the process of formation of kidney stone?

Repeated urinary tract infections raises the risk of kidney stones. Additionaly, renal diseases such as cystinuria, metabolic diseases like thyroid disease or chronic pancreatic disease may predispose to kidney stone formation. Gut, a type of rheumatic disease, increases the rate of uric acid in the body and often causes the formationof uric acid stones.

Uric acid stones are more seen in women than men are, chronic inflammation of the intestine is one of the diseases often causing kidney stones.

What are the factors increasing the risk of kidney stone formation?

Not gettin enough fluids during the day
Genetic factors
Family history and personal stories: families with past kidney stones are more likely to cultivate the disease.
Age, sex and race: Kidney stone disease is mostrly see in the range of 30 – 50 yearls old.
Less action or inaction
